A little bit about the Artist- by Kasia Niedźwiedź

I am a mother of three children who are my life and every inspiration. It is for them that I said goodbye to my profession as a music teacher and became an animator for kids. Working in animation also required me to paint children’s faces, but I totally couldn’t do it at first. I must admit that I have never had artistic talent, and for several years, face painting has been a real challenge for me. However, I love working with kids and personal development, which is why I continued to practice and in 2019 I started working intensively on the aesthetics of face and Body Painting and bought my first professional brushes and paints by Global Colours.

I have been working on my progress day and night, and my only goal was to make a bigger smile on all of the faces that I painted on.My next step, I started the adventure of painting pregnancy bellies so that I could be a part of memories for the growing baby and the future mother. 

The moment of painting and creating new projects is invaluable for me. For the last 2 years, I have been helping and advising painters from all over the whole world. It was a pleasure for me inspire people with my designs and colours. 

In 2020, my friends inspired me to compete in my first body painting competition online. Competitions were a great next step for me and the next stage of my artistic development.

Each of my little challenges was a great achievement for me:
* 4 times i took 1st place in competitions of an international group of painters (Inspiration To Paint)
* 1 times i took 2nd place in the May competition (Global Colours)
* 1 times i took 1st place from the audience in the “Rock Star” competition ( The Carolina Bodypainting Guild)
* special mention from Nick Wolfe in the “Sweater Cometition” (Paintopia Official).

In Poland, I run a training for beginners: “Facepainting Kids”. I really like sharing my knowledge and observing the beautiful painting development of my students. So my history of face and body painting is very short, but for me and for many people this fact is very valuable.  I am a person who is happy to say that professional equipment, willingness and time are enough to make Face and Body Painting a passion or even an addiction 😉
