Cover FX Palette

Cover FX is one of our four new SFX colour palettes now available! The palettes are available separately or can be purchased together as a full FX Library.

Cover FX is made up of 12 super pigmented cream colours, in selected Warm, Cool and neutral skin colours and corrective undertones. These cream based colour pigments are perfect for camouflage, like coverup for Tattoos, birthmarks, bruises, scaring and unwanted skin discolouration and also skin colour matching for your fx makeup looks and such as colouring your prosthetic pieces and concealing our edges with creative colour.

Each colour tile in the Cover FX palette is in a removable, magnetic pan making replacing your most popular colours easy, with our custom refills. This means you’ll save money and the environment by not needing to replace the whole palette overtime when you ‘hit pan’ on your favourite or most used colours. All of the refill tiles are also interchangeable with all the the other FX palettes, meaning you can create your own custom palette to make your makeup application more streamlined and personalised.

Containing only approved cosmetic ingredients that comply with all worldwide safety regulations, this 100% non-toxic cosmetic-grade FX colour is:
– Skin safe
– Paraben free
– Vegan
– Not tested on animals
– Hypoallergenic
– Non-staining on the skin
– Highly pigmented, bright colours
– Made in an ethical facility with safe working conditions
– In recyclable packaging
– Compliant with all worldwide safety regulations, including FDA, EU and Australian standards (regular colours conform to FDA, EU)

Pro-tip: Use a colour wheel to identify your contrasting colour, and layer it to help with the neutralisation of your cover-ups, for example, orange tones to eliminate blue grey tones such as beard line and tattoo line work.
To apply, use a brush, sponge, spatula or Global Colours Smoothie Blender, gently pick up pigment from palette and blend, stipple or paint product onto areas of the face or body camouflage bruises, birthmarks, tattoos and pigmentation. To assist with longevity I would suggest using a neutral setting or finishing powder applied with a velour powder puff, beauty blender or sponge. Best removed with oil based makeup remover or makeup wipes.

When we were developing this palette (as someone with tattoo’s),I was very involved with the testing process, making sure we could get the maximum amount of coverage from our pigments without loosing the creaminess of the formula- and I’m so happy with the result!

Each FX palette within the range also has a mixing grid built in to make mixing your bespoke colours easy, and it helps keep your creative process tidy.

I really do think this palette will be an amazing companion to any SFX, makeup or even body painting kit. I’m really proud of the colour selection and pigment quality and I know you guys are going to love it, 🙂
