Pouring Medium – Professional Artist Effects Medium

Global Colours Professional Pouring Medium is a high gloss self-levelling medium and you may utilise pouring techniques to create a fluid art marbling effect. It will not add transparency when mixed with acrylic paint colours and is flexible, non-yellowing and water resistant.

Global Colours Professional Pouring Medium is a high gloss, self-levelling medium ideal to utilise pour painting techniques to create a marbling effect when used in conjunction with Global Colours Professional High Flow and Fine Art Acrylic Paints.  It will not add transparency when mixed with colour and is flexible, non-yellowing and water resistant. Milky white when wet, the medium becomes transparent and retains a high gloss and wet appearance when dry. It can also be used as a varnish.

Use either by pouring the medium directly onto the canvas and pouring High Flow on top of the pouring medium directly from the bottle. Or, mix Global Colours High Flow or Artist Acrylics with the Pouring Medium before pouring onto the canvas. Mix well and cover the entire canvas to prevent cracks.  Do not dilute the Pouring Medium. Allow to dry for 48 hours. Do not use in temperatures above 28°C ambient temperature. Celsius or below 12°C ambient temperature. This product has adhesive properties so protective clothing should be worn when mixing and applying. Clean up with soapy water without delay.
