What Can Spirit Gum Adhesive Be Used For?

Global Colours Spirit Gum can be used to attach:

For the best result, make sure both the skin and the item being attached are clean and dry before application.

How to Apply Spirit Gum

1. Clean and dry the area of skin where the item will be attached.
2. Using a brush or cotton tip, dab a thin, even layer of Spirit Gum directly onto the skin.
3. Wait approximately two minutes to allow the alcohol to evaporate.
4. Gently tap the applied area until the Spirit Gum becomes tacky and begins to grip your fingertip.
5. Press the moustache, beard, wig, bald cap or prosthetic appliance firmly into position.
6. Smooth the item carefully to create even contact with the adhesive.

Avoid applying excessive product. A thin, evenly distributed layer will generally be easier to activate and remove.

How to Remove Spirit Gum

Always have Global Colours Spirit Gum Remover available before applying the adhesive. Apply the remover to a cotton ball or cotton pad and gently massage it around the attached area. Hold it against the adhesive for approximately 10–15 seconds where necessary, allowing the Spirit Gum to dissolve before carefully peeling the item away. Do not pull a prosthetic, wig or facial hair piece directly from the skin without first dissolving the adhesive. Wash the area with soap and water after removal.
