Global Colours Fabric Medium is a water based acrylic medium used to convert acrylic paint into fabric paints that will become permanent when dried and heat set.  Once mixed together at a 1:1 ratio with Global Colours Acrylic Paints this product will hold fast to fabrics, while still remaining flexible enough that the paint will not crack.

No colour change will occur to the paint once this medium is mixed in with the paint.  When mixing a further 10% water can be added to the mixture to thin if too thick.  Allow to dry for 12 hours on the fabric or garment before heat setting with an iron to make wash and dry clean resistant.  When heat setting with an iron be sure to cover the fabric or garment with a cloth and set the iron to medium heat.  Do not iron directly onto the painted surface as this could lift the paint and damage the artwork.  Be sure to test on a small area to confirm fabric suitability.  Avoid synthetic fibres.

Clean all equipment with soap and water.

This medium is compatible with the range of Global Colours acrylics and other mediums, working together to create a highly versatile painting system for all artists.  Not formulated for use with other brands of acrylics or mediums.

Available in 250ml jars.  Larger sizes are available upon request.
